Critical Stance:
a. Dehumanization: The psychological process of demonizing the enemy, making them
seem less than human and hence not worthy of humane treatment. This can lead to
increased violence, human rights violations, war crimes, and genocide.
b. Some of the various prisoners have various behaviors in this
concentration camp environment. Brothers Yossi and Tibi stuck together like
glue. They stood by each other sides through thick and thin. The prison
environment didn’t rattle them from their goals. During this time in the camps people
understood the lesson of every man for himself. The life of being alone and
separated is a must to survive in this type of environment.
c. When Eliezer first entered the camp he, believed in his religion
very greatly and knew the god would help him and his family out of this
situation. Putting his faith in the hands of god and having hope that
everything will turn out all right. Over the period of being in the camp Eliezer
slowly loses his faith in god. He sees that this trust in getting troubling and
difficult to hold on too.

and I was alone- terribly alone in a world without God and without man. Without
love or mercy.
