1. Our sadness seems strange because we sometimes get sad out of nowhere. Sometimes we can’t control our feelings, but our feelings can control us. We may know bits and bits of why we are sad, but never the full reason. When we feel sad, we want to be left alone but also want someone to make us laugh and smile.
2. Today, lending money is fine to do but they have to pay the person or bank back with interest. Most people don’t lend money to others because they don’t know for sure if that person will pay them back. People and the bank lend money to help people pay for important things such as bills, their car and a house.
3. No it’s not right to lend a large amount of money to someone just because of their word and reputation without evidence. There should be evidence to show that they will eventually pay you back. Even if you two are close you should be careful, especially it’s a large amount of money. All the hard work that you did to earn that money shouldn’t be given to someone who would just throw your money down the drain.
4. These elements would and wouldn’t blend well because it depends on how much they feel about one another. If these elements would blend together, the two lovers would set aside their differences in religious and ethnic conflicts just to be together. If these elements wouldn’t blend together, the two lovers would let their parents, family and friends influence them that they don’t belong together.
Don’t rely on outward appearances when making judgments.
I disagree with this statement because it doesn't matter what people look on the outside but what matters on the inside. People usually judge a book by its cover. A lot of people turn you down because of the appearance but it's
Justice is always blind.
I agree that justice is always blind because they always hear both sides but always believe in one side. They only believe in one thing and can't see the other point if view.
A brotherly love between two friends can be just as strong as an intimate love between a man and a woman.
I agree with this statement because having brotherly love can be just as strong between love between a man and a women. When people love one another they truly love from the heart. Just like how you love your family and friends.
You can break a promise as long as you have a good excuse
I disagree, when you break a promise you have no good excuse. Breaking a promise is like breaking your friendship. Your friendship is broken but can be repaired with love and trust. With breaking a promise you don't know if you trust one another again.
Love is blind.
I disagree because people will feel and understand true love when it happens.
Stereotypes are often right.
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is a good motto to live by.
I agree with stereotypes are often right because people try to find the truth behind the lies. Everyone believes what they hear and see. Even if the situation can be interpreted the wrong way people will tell what they know. People shouldn't live by the motto, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. It's just saying if you hurt me I can hurt you back. Even though everyone feels that some people won't do it.

Of Mice and Men Double Chunky Paragraph
Mental Retardation (MR), is a condition diagnosed before age
18, usually in infancy or prior to birth, that includes below-average general
intellectual function, a lack of the skills necessary for daily living. About 1%
to 3% of the population of the United States has Mental Retardation. People
around the world with Mental Retardation struggle to fit in day to day. Others
discriminate Mental Retardation because they have developmental delays and
intellectual disability. People with Mental Retardation should be able to live
in society without being made fun of and people should understand how hard it is
to live with Mental Retardation.
Doctors can could specifically find out what’s wrong in 25%
of the cases each year. People get
Mental Retardation usually through birth. Some other factors besides birth is
infections when giving birth and trauma before or after birth. Normally people
become Mental Retardate because of something that the mother has done sometime
when having the baby in the whom. Toxic chemicals such as alcohol, cocaine,
amphetamines, and other drugs are the most common causes to intellectual
disability cases. Other causes could be there is a problem with the baby’s genes,
the baby was born too early, or brain damage after birth. Mothers that are pregnant shouldn't be
doing anything that could harm the baby in any way.
Some people have a hard time grasping the information given
to them during school or in a meeting. Just like other health problems like autism,
Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy there person’s developmental delay can be
mild or major. Often when the people take tests their intelligence quotient
(IQ) score below 70 on a standardized IQ test. The average score for an IQ test
is from 85-115. Having to try harder more than the average person to get an
average test score is difficult. A lot of Mental Retardation people have a lack
of curiosity and fails to adapt to new situations. Most of them don’t
understand social rules or how to follow them. Being a stand out person that is
incapable to have quick reflexes and have trouble feeling comfortable in new
setting. If people that have this condition and what to be treated, should be
treated as an infant. Social skills and others will be taught until the person
is as normal as possible. There are a lot of support groups that can help with
treatment and counseling such as the American Association on Intellectual and
Developmental Disabilities.
Mental Retardation is a diagnosed before the age of 18, that
you usually get as an infant or before birth. There are treatments out there
and association that can help. Lack of social skills and lack of curiosity are symptoms
to Mental Retardation. We shouldn't discriminate against Mental Retarded people
and should treat them the same. People with Mental Retardation should be able
to live in society without being made fun of and people should understand how
hard it is to live with Mental Retardation.
