Women do all the behind the scenes work to make sure the man is the best he can be. In the TV show scandal, governor Grant was running for president and he was all shaken up because he losing many votes in many cities. He had a small percent chance that he was going to be president. However Olivia one of the women that work with governor Grant’s campaign helped him gain his confidence back by telling him that he can't give up on himself. My sister has experience a spirit among her bedroom once. She told me that she felt someone watching her sleep. I didn't believe her at first, but over time I realized maybe I should believe her. This was only one experience, so I'm still don't believe in ghost but I do believe in spirits.

3    3. Sometimes it isn’t necessary to do something wrong to get what you want. To get what you want you should earn it by doing something, working or doing chores. If wrongful actions are taken then you will feel guilty about the actions that were done to get what you wanted. From personal experience I have done some wrongful actions to get what I wanted. I’m normal have A’s and B’s on my report card. This first quarter how ever I had one C, which was in Japanese. When I received my report card I didn’t show my parents and told them that Jupiter Grade grades were inaccurate. Then my mom only received a report card from my sister, which had all straight A’s. After this incident I learned my lesson, which was to be honest about my grades. If I’m going to be embarrassed about my grades then I should have work harder.

I think that God would send messages down to earth to show that these people are him and are representing him.

Thesis Statement:

a. Theme:
In toady’s society people don’t believe in themselves, the novel “Night” expresses how believing in one’s self leads to success and freedom to things that are holding us back.

One of the most appalling events in history was the holocaust, but for Elie Wiesel he held belief and broke away from what was holding him back in life.

Quote Collections:

a.
-One day when we had stopped, a workman took a piece of bread out of his bag and threw it into a wagon. There was a stampede. Dozens of starving men fought each other to the death for a few crumbs; The German workmen took a lively interest in this spectacle.

-One of you does not seem to have understood this. I’d obliged, therefore, to make it very clear to him once and for all. I felt the sweat run down my back. A-7713. I came forward. A box he ordered. They brought him a box. Lie down on it. On your stomach. I obeyed. Then I was aware of nothing but the strokes of the whip.

-Not far from us, flames were leaping up from a ditch, gigantic flames. They were burning something. A lorry drew up at the pit and delivered its load-little children. Babies! Yes, I saw it- saw it with my own eyes, those children in the flames.

-Listen to me, you bastard! That’s for you curiosity. You’ll get five times more if you dare tell anyone what you saw! Understand? I nodded my head, once, ten times, I nodded ceaselessly, as if my head decided to say yes without ever stopping.

-I was no longer in the same block as my father. I had been transferred to another unit, the building one, where, twelve hours a day,

b.

-There were no prayers at his grave. No candles were lit to his memory. His last word was my name. A summons, to which I did not respond. I did not weep, and it pained me that I could not weep. But I had no more tears.

-Three prisoners brought a table and some medical instruments. With the left sleeve rolled up, each person passed in front of the table.  The three veterans with needles in their hands engraved a number on our left arms. I became A-7713. After that I had no name.

Conclusion Questions:

What are the positive lessons of the Holocaust that Wiesel hints at in the story?

Some of the positive lessons that Wiesel hints throughout the story about the holocaust are to appreciate things in life. We go through life with many privileges and we don’t think about how lucky we are that we don’t live in an environment that is similar to the holocaust. We can make our own decision is life; we can stand up in what we believe in and grow against the crowd. The novel “Night” expresses how that we should treasure the people around us. During the holocaust many people like Elie lost their family, their mother, father, and siblings. Now, today we don’t think about these drastic measures happening everyday. Throughout the whole novel Elie tries to tell us about his mistakes and how these mistakes changed his life and how he doesn’t want us to make those same mistakes in our life.

Is there purpose to having faith even without the existence or justice of God? (Jewish people believed in their faith even during all of the horrid events)

The purpose of faith is to put your heart and mind into something that you believe. The existence of faith doesn’t have to exist because it’s in your heart. Faith will lead you when you need it most, when you’re in a slump. Having faith keeps people’s heads up when facing horrid events like for example the holocaust. Even though there might not be justice in the situation people still held faith in themselves and others.

Is redemption for man possible, after committing actions like or similar to the holocaust?

Redemption is not possible for a man after committing such actions like the holocaust. The actions that the man did can never be forgotten in people’s heart. People will have no guilt not giving the man a chance. Always think before you act. If you think before you act then you can see your decision that will come along with it. People who just act without thinking will get the conquences that along with that. The reasoning by the actions must be all right with humanity. Any inhumane actions will disagree with the public.
